Regular: if you win a game and your opponent has borne off at least one checker, it’s considered a regular win and you win the value of the game’s stake.

Gammon: If you win before your opponent could bear off at least one of his checkers by the game’s end, it’s considered a gammon win and you win twice the value of the game’s stake.

Backgammon: If you win before your opponent could bear off at least one checker and still has a checker on your home board at the game’s end, it’s considered a backgammon win and you win three times the value of the stake of the game.
