Deal the Cards: Start by dealing 8 cards to each player.
Set Up the Piles: Place the remaining cards face down to form a draw pile. Flip the top card from the draw pile and place it face up to create the discard pile.
Special Card Rule: If the first card on the discard pile is a special card, continue placing cards on the discard pile until a colored card appears. Return all special cards to the deck and shuffle.
Taking Turns: During a player's turn, they must play a card that matches either the suit or rank of the card on top of the discard pile.
- Example: If the top card is a Red 5, the player can play any Red card or any card with a 5.
- Example: If the top card is a Red 5, the player can play any Red card or any card with a 5.
Drawing Cards: If a player cannot play a card, they must draw one from the draw pile.
- If the drawn card can be played, the player can immediately play it.
- If the drawn card cannot be played, the player's turn ends.
Keep playing until one player successfully finish all the stages. Enjoy the strategic fun of OPA!
